Reverses
Book design for the V&A and CentreCentre. Reverses is a celebration of unintentional creativity – artwork found in the V&A collection created by marks, damage, fragments of sketches, notes and remnants of reuse found on the reverse, or verso, of a finished piece. Each image is a clue to the object’s history, ownership and maker’s process, allowing us to complete a view that is normally hidden. Here George Eksts brings together 150 intriguing works from the ‘wrong’ side of the paper.
